This Plein Air painting was done on site at Buttemilk Falls in Vermont. Stood on the most rocky, uncomfortable spot, balancing unevenly for hours. But, I always pick the spot first rather than the ease or simplicity of what to paint....chosen for what I deem as the most exciting picture in front of me then deal with the difficulties of where to place the easel & myself last.
