This Plein air painting was done while standing in an awkward place in a field at the top of a ski slope on Okemo, VT, looking down. It was an unusually hot and sticky August day, for Vermont and the air was muggy. I kept at it while listening to the bees doing their thing on the wildflowers sprinkled about.
